Dr A.B. Prabhu did MS in General Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has worked as Registrar in department of General Surgery (PGIMER) and then did super specialisation in Plastic Surgery from PGIMER.

He specialises in Burns, Reconstructive Microvascular, Hand Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery. His areas of interest are Craniofacial and Aesthetic Surgery.

He has been trained under Dr Lari of Kuwait and has done body countering surgeries like Liposuction and Abdominoplasties ( tummy tuck).

He has a few publications in leading journals and also presented papers in plastic surgery conferences.
